Santa Hank started portraying Santa Claus in 1989 when he visited  the local children's hospital, and  has, to this day, continued that tradition of bringing Christmas cheer to severely ill children.  In 2001, Santa Hank joined the ranks of "Real Bearded Santas" and started appearing for pre- school children. When he retired from his career as a high school science teacher, Santa Hank expanded his horizons and has portrayed Santa at shopping malls, photo studios, industry promotions, children's parties and "Christmas in July" appearances at campgrounds.  He enjoys reading Christmas stories to children as well as leading them in singing Carols. In all cases Santa Hank brings joy and happiness to children of all ages and spreads Christmas cheer all year 'round.
